The Teens and Preteens
The Teens ministry at GPFM is a vital part of our church community. Comprising young adults between the ages of 13 and 19, our goal is to raise a generation of godly teenagers who are responsible, dependable, and reliable to the church, their families, and the wider community.
We understand the unique challenges facing today's teens and strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for them to grow and develop. Our ministry is committed to creating opportunities for our teenagers to express themselves and grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially.
One of the ways we achieve this is through our annual Teens camp, "THE ROOTED CAMP," where our teens have the opportunity to come together for a week of fun, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Our camp is designed to be a life-changing experience, equipping our teens with the tools and skills they need to navigate the challenges of adolescence and become confident, mature, and responsible adults.
In addition to our annual camp, we offer a variety of other activities and programs throughout the year. Our ministry provides opportunities for our teens to engage in community service, attend workshops and conferences, and participate in team-building activities. We also have a dedicated team of volunteer leaders who are passionate about mentoring and equipping our teens to become future leaders in their families, communities, and beyond.
We recognize the importance of providing a space where our teenagers can feel at home and be themselves. We strive to create an environment that is warm, welcoming, and inclusive, where our teens can build meaningful friendships, explore their interests, and develop a deeper relationship with God.
If you have a heart for working with teens and want to make a difference in their lives, we invite you to join our team of volunteer leaders. We are always looking for committed and passionate individuals who are willing to invest their time, talents, and energy in shaping the future of our youth.
